CBI Home Health is actively recruiting for Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses for Shifts and Visits in their Kingston area Home Care Division.
RN / RPN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate family centered care.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required with an ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team as well as with families from a diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Good organizational skills, with an ability to be flexible and adapt to effectively meet the changing needs and priorities of the unit.
Good attendance and work record required.

Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse Diploma or Degree
Current RN / RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontarion required
Current BCLS/CPR certification required or agreement to obtain within 3 months of commencement into position
2 years recent nursing experience preferred
Bereavement / Palliative nursing care skills an asset
EXPERIENCE WITH CLIENTS WHO ARE VENTILATOR DEPENDENT AND WHO HAVE COMPLEX CARE NEES WILL BE CONSIDERED AND ASSET FOR THIS POSITION
Must be able to cover rural areas in the Kingston and Frontenac areas
Must be able to work both community visits and shifts
Work shifts of one hour or longer
Work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
Availability to work evening visits, 5 evenings out of 2 weeks is required
Fluency and in French an asset
Must have 2 step Mantoux test (TB) within last 12 months
Criminal and vulnerable police clearance within last 12 months
